I’ve been an athlete my entire life. I’ve learned from some of the best over my life, along with some of the not so great. All of these coaches and mentors have helped me grow to be the person I am today. I played football for 18 years along with every sport I could get my hands on. I learned to Olympic lift and strength train in elementary school with a broomstick. Technique is the foundation and you must master that in order to be the best you can. I played college football, Lacrosse, and I was an NFL prospect. I transferred over to CrossFit in 2016 with the Goal of winning the CrossFit Games. I have been in pursuit of the goal ever since, along with progressing my ability to help coach others to be their best self.
I had a hard pivot in life when changing careers of being a football player to starting CrossFit. Going from the top to the bottom. The most difficult part was having to swallow the pill of knowing effort and ability isn’t always good enough. The road you are on will always find a way to get you to where you are meant to be, no matter the turns you take. It has shown me that the effort and ability will always take you the place you are MEANT to be, even if it’s not where you had planned or thought to be. Understanding that showing up and doing everything to the best of your ability will always be the right path no matter the outcome!
I have passion to coach others that want to be coached to the best of their ability. I want to help others achieve their goals as if they were mine. It’s wonderful to see people achieve their goals and just be on the journey with them. Knowing that I made a difference in helping them on the journey is all that matters!
