Background in Fitness: Grew up playing sports. Football, Wrestling, Track in High School. Developed a real love for weightlifting while trying to get stronger for sports. Took up martial Arts as an adult (met my wife there!). Youngest son got me to come to On Ramp with him and I got totally hooked and have been here ever since. Realized as retirement loomed, I needed to pursue something I was passionate about and being trained and certified to coach CrossFit and specifically at Dwala was my passion going forward. Chief Maintenance Officer: I have always enjoyed and gotten great satisfaction out of maintaining and repairing equipment. I am an Engineer by both education and profession, so handyman work comes naturally for me. I am excited to get started on the preventative and regular maintenance of all our equipment at Dwala, including Bikes, Rowers, Rigs, and Barbells. In addition, working to maintain and enhance the facility spaces we use is very exciting for me. Favorite Project or things to Fix: Fixing - changing belts on Bikes and chains on Rowers. Projects - Putting together and Installation of new Storage Units for dumbbells, kettlebells, wall balls, etc. Spending Time: When not coaching or tinkering with tools, I like to read. Have been a heavy reader since childhood and still enjoy reading today!
