About Coach

I competitively rode horses for 12 years in the Hunter/Jumper discipline. It taught me a lot about hard work, dedication, and having major responsibilities at a young age. CrossFit was something that naturally stood out to me after riding. I loved how each day was a new and challenging way to push myself. I have been a personal trainer since 2012, a Crossfitter since 2013, and a CrossFit coach since 2015. Some of the moments that have made me the proudest of myself over my CrossFit career are finishing within the top 120 of the Southeast Open for RX women in 2016, Individual RX athlete at Wodapalooza in 2016, and Elite Team athlete at Wodapalooza in 2017.

Turning Point

I love that you get to decide the outcome of your workout based on mentality and find that to be very empowering. You have to be strong mentally in order to conquer a workout and I love how that can transfer over into real world settings. CrossFit has been one of the best adventures of my life thus far. I have grown exponentially both physically and mentally. I have met my best friends, fiancé, and have made lifelong memories through my years of CrossFit and can’t wait to see what another 9 years of CrossFit will bring into my life.

Motivation & Passion

I love watching people discover something they never thought they would be able to do in the gym whether it be physical or mental. Seeing someone get a muscle up for the first time or hit a new snatch PR and seeing how they react is the absolute best feeling! Making someone feel comfortable and confident on any point in their fitness journey is my main goal!
